Chamber music matinee //
Ten times each season – mostly Sundays at 11 am – the musicians of the Staatskapelle Weimar perform an hour’s worth of music in a chamber-musical setting. The performances feature classical arrangements, colourfully combined timbres, famous all-time favourites, long-forgotten works, new discoveries, even world premieres – and always from the unique perspective of an almost endless repertory. The matinees offer audiences the opportunity to experience our musicians up close and later meet them in person.
