Shining stars

Opera gala with works by Giacomo Puccini

»I want to make the world cry«, said Giacomo Puccini about the end of the tuberculosis-stricken Mimi in »La Bohème«. And he did so by setting to music the realities of life for ordinary people like no other. Our music theater ensemble offers a musical star hour, in which we unfold for you the entire operatic world of the Italian composer. We freeze with the poor artists in a Parisian garret apartment. We experience the transgressive love of Manon Lescaut, which upsets social conventions. We suffer with the singer Tosca, who fights against her jealousy and political despotism. With »Madame Butterfly«, »Turandot« and »La fanciulla del West« we explore foreign worlds. Puccini's operas are »true, passionate and human« - a motto to which our opera gala also subscribes!
