The open-air concert performed by the Staatkapelle Weimar has long become the established finale of every concert season and a cherished summertime tradition for family and friends. After ten years of coordinating the programme ourselves, we decided to “pass the baton” to you, so to speak. Based on the motto “As You Like It”, we collected your programme suggestions all season long, amazed and often amused by your wishes and ideas, and delighted by the vast number of replies.

We won’t tell you what pieces our musicians will perform on the lakeside stage in the park. But we do promise that you’re in for an extraordinarily multifaceted evening, during which the Staatskapelle will venture into stylistic terrain which it has seldom visited before. You can look forward to swing, good vibes, pure music magic, and of course, a big fireworks finale!
